1 large ripe Florida avocado, peeled, sliced and with seed removed
2 large ripe Florida tomatoes, cored and cut into eighths
½ red onion, sliced thin
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, leaves pulled from stem
1 lime, juiced
1 tablespoon quality olive oil
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
On a small platter, arrange avocado, tomatoes, red onion and oregano in layers. Generously season with the salt and pepper, to taste. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil.
