2 cups Florida blackberries
¼ cup natural Florida sugar
1 lemon, juiced
1 small pinch sea salt
Add all ingredients into a small saucepan and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir and lightly mash some of the blackberries with a fork. Remove compote from the heat and let cool. The compote will thicken up as it cools. Serve warm or cold over your favorite ice cream. Garnish with fresh mint and crumbled graham crackers if desired.
