Florida Blackberry Margarita

Ingredients

¼ cup fresh Florida blackberries, plus extra, for garnish 

1 ounce Florida orange liqueur (such as Tippler’s Orange Liqueur) 

½ ounce Florida Sugar Simple Syrup 

2 ounces tequila 

1 ½ ounces fresh lime juice, plus extra, for rim (if desired)

Sliced lime, for garnish 

Sea salt, if desired 

Preparation

Add ¼ cup of blackberries and the simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Use a muddling stick to crush the blackberries in the bottom of the shaker. Add the tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice to the shaker and fill halfway with ice. Place the lid on securely and shake vigorously for 30 to 45 seconds. Rim a glass with lime juice and sea salt, if desired. Fill with ice. Strain the mixture into the glass. Garnish with whole blackberries and a slice of lime. Drink responsibly.
