12 Florida radishes, sliced thin
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
⅓ loaf fresh baked French or Cuban bread, sliced in half lengthwise
1 tablespoon fresh herbs (dill, thyme, basil, parsley), finely chopped
1 teaspoon all-purpose Florida seasoning (Everglades)
Quality olive oil for drizzling
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
Spread an even amount of the softened butter on each of the partial loaves. Season the butter with sea salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste. Evenly layer the thin sliced radishes on top of the butter layer. Lightly drizzle the top of the radishes with olive oil, seasoning blend and freshly chopped herbs. Serve at room temperature.
