Florida farms are filled with a variety of agricultural products that look good and taste great. Each season brings its own bounty to the table. With the advent of fall, growers begin harvesting the fruits and vegetables that we love. Winter is a major growing and harvest time in Florida, and the spring brings with it even more delicious products. In the summer, harvests slow down as our farmers gear up for another start to the amazing cycle of Florida agriculture.

Membership in the "Fresh From Florida" program allows farms, packers, distributors, and retailers to use the "Fresh From Florida" brand to help market Florida-grown products. Brand awareness has steadily increased since 2013 with consumers who recognize that the products which carry the "Fresh From Florida" brand are Florida-grown, creating a competitive edge for those who wish to reach consumers looking for quality U.S. products. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services uses the "Fresh From Florida" brand to promote locally, regionally, and internationally to consumers throughout the world where Florida-grown products are marketed. Working with many of the largest and most respected retailers, the Department promotes the purchase of Florida commodities through retail promotions when possible. During the 2019-2020 season, 54 retail partners across the globe promoted over 100 Florida commodities through nearly 1,400 events. These retail promotions included circular ads, in-store displays, samplings, and print and digital media, generating $118.75 million in actual retail sales.
