6 Florida eggs, hard-boiled and cooled
⅓ cup bacon bits
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon mustard
1 dash Florida hot sauce
½ lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon Florida all-purpose seasoning blend (Everglades)
Florida cherry tomatoes and parsley, for garnish
Completely peel the hard-boiled eggs, being careful to keep the shape. Using a clean knife each time, cut the peeled eggs in half (lengthwise). Carefully scoop the egg yolks into a small mixing bowl. Use a fork to break up and mash the yolks. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce (if desired), lemon juice and seasoning blend to the yolks. Stir ingredients until smooth and fully combined. Use a spoon or piping bag to evenly fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture. Evenly top each deviled egg with an even amount of bacon bits. Garnish with Florida cherry tomato halves and sprigs of fresh parsley, if desired. Keep the deviled eggs cold and covered in the refrigerator until served.
