¼ cup Florida milk
1 medium Florida tomato, diced small
6 to 8 Florida radishes, rinsed, trimmed, and sliced thin
½ pound white American cheese
1 (4-ounce) can mild green chiles, drained and diced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon Latin seasoning blend (taco seasoning mix), plus more, to taste
Florida datil hot pepper sauce or your favorite Latin hot sauce, to taste
10 to 16 ounces blue corn tortilla chips
In a medium-sized saucepot, add the Florida milk, American cheese and butter. Cook ingredients over low heat, stirring frequently. Add the drained green chiles, seasoning blend and hot sauce, to taste. When everything is incorporated and melted, transfer the queso to a high-sided serving dish. Garnish the queso with the diced Florida tomatoes. Serve warm with sliced Florida radishes and blue corn tortilla chips.
