14 ounces Florida strawberries, tops removed, quartered
½ cup natural Florida sugar
½ lemon, juiced
Add all ingredients to a small sauce pot over medium heat. Bring to a quick boil, then turn down to low heat. Cook the strawberry mixture over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove the strawberry sauce from the heat. Carefully blend the strawberry sauce with an immersion blender or tabletop blender until smooth. Serve warm or cold.
