½ cup Florida sweet peppers, diced
1 cup Florida mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Florida spinach, chopped
1 large homemade or purchased pizza dough
2 cups marinara sauce
4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 (6-ounce) package of pepperoni
¼ cup black olives, sliced
Parmesan cheese, grated as needed
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Use a large cast iron skillet or a high-sided baking sheet pan to prepare the pizza in. Carefully start to evenly stretch the pizza dough to fit the pan it will be cooked in. You want to make sure the pizza dough will go part of the way up the sides of the pan to make a deep dish. Start layering the pizza ingredients by first adding most of the cheese. Next arrange about half of the vegetables and pepperoni on top of the cheese. Evenly add the sauce on top of the cheese and cut vegetables. Add the rest of the cheese plus more if desired. Finally add the rest of the cut vegetables and pepperoni to the top of the pizza. Bake pizza for 12 to 14 minutes, or until desired doneness. Carefully remove cooked pizza from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish pizza with fresh grated parmesan cheese.
