1 ½ ounces Florida rum
1 ½ ounces Florida coconut rum
1 cup fresh Florida strawberry, plus 1 whole strawberry for garnish
2 limes, juiced and divided
2 ounces cream of coconut
½ ounce simple syrup
2 ounces pineapple juice
Rinse blender and make sure all the parts are clean and ready to use. Add Florida rum, strawberry, half of the lime juice, simple syrup and 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and pour strawberry mix into a cup. Place cup of freshly made strawberry mix into freezer while making the other half of the drink. Rinse blender to remove strawberry mixture. Reset blender and add Florida coconut rum, cream of coconut, the rest of the lime juice and 1 cup of ice. Blend ingredients until smooth. To serve, try to alternate layers of the strawberry and coconut mixtures in a hurricane or collins glass. Add a straw and a Florida strawberry for garnish. Drink responsibly.
